bugs

collisions need a bit of work like the rock with moss should have a collision mask on the bottom leaving the top have little to none so the player can walk behind it.

visual style 

the visual style is nice and the mushroom fantasy type setting is very interesting

weakness

the trees have a weird Gray outline around them which looks weird with the colour palate, I also feel the trees in the background doesn't feel planted or fit in the ground with roots.

You can 'fly' in the cave.  And it's easy to get stuck on invisible objects

The concept for the visual style is really well thought out. The white around the linework from using the fill tool really weakens the game visuals though. I'd recommend colouring on a different layer underneath your lineart layer to fix this.

I like the whole theme with the mushrooms. The game has a unique art style which is appealing.

bugs: no borders around the map. The biggest problem however is that there are weird collisions all around the walking space which definitely feel bigger than they should be (which makes it really hard to walk around so an improvement would be to change the collision masks, you can even make it so that some stuff like the small leaves and bushes dont have collision in the first place so that you can walk over them. Separate the UI onto a different layer. 

Bugs: Couldn't find any bugs from what I played.

Strengths: Strong visual style with many hand drawn assets.

Weaknesses: It feels like your just floating around and it's very hard to tell where the invisible walls are going to be. Also I feel I don't know where I'm going or what I'm supposed to be doing in the game. 

Changes: Make the invisible walls smaller or just remove them to allow players to smoothly move around instead of bumping into a wall every other second. Make the goal of the game more obvious.

Bugs: UI doesn't connect to the main screen and I can walk off the screen when I cut the vines

Strength: Unique and interesting art direction

weakness: screen is detached from character. 

Changes or Improvements: make items stand out little bit mroe

What is the weakest part of the game?

your visual style, the shears blended in with the environment, making it hard to find and the path through the river does not have any visual hints that it is the correct path

What are the best parts of the game?

the strength is the simple gameplay, walking around a deep forest and doing simple tasks is relaxing

i recommend painting the recommended path with a lighter tint. and make the shears stand out with a highlight
